ORGL Leadership Plan

Course Prompts

At the end of each of the CORE courses in the Organizational Leadership program (ORGL 600, 605, 610, and 615) and the initial course in any ORGL concentration, you will be asked to post a reflection on the course and what you have learned from it. Your responses will be part of the course Blackboard Discussion board.

Copy that discussion board response and enter it in the appropriate Course Prompt form in Foliotek - feel free to elaborate on your thoughts and reflections. This is also a great place to upload copies of exemplar work from each course as well as a bibliography of books, articles, and other content that impacted you during the course.  This is beneficial for capstone preparation as you will be asked to reflect back on each course and articulate how the course objectives and competencies impacted you.

Process:
1. Select Course Prompts from the left-hand menu
2. Click on a course to open and add content
3. Each course will have a built in form to copy & paste into or type directly in
4. Each course has a green plus sign to facilitate uploading and attaching up to 100 artifacts

The Blackboard Discussion Board prompts will be repeated on the Foliotek pages; here are the prompts for ORGL 600, 605, 610, and other courses:
  • Recall the lessons from this class. Think back to each of the topics / concepts / models we explored. What did you learn? What stands out to you from this class? How did these ideas reaffirm your understanding of organizational leadership? What ideas challenged your understanding of leadership?
  • How do these ideas impact you? What does this class mean for you as a student? as a family member? as a member of an organization? as a community member?
  • What possibilities can you consider after having taken the class? How do you see yourself being able to connect and use these ideas? What do you need to keep deepening your learning and curiosity about these options?
